We are committed to establishing sustainable creative partnerships with local schools, community groups and other statutory and voluntary agencies.

One of our gallery directors, David Richardson (BA hons, P.G.C.E) has worked extensively over a 12 year period across Key Stages 3,4,5 both as an educator and as a freelance artist delivering and designing arts based programmes and workshops to supports arts education in schools and other settings. He has also worked extensively through inclusion strands in schools to support learning and behavior utilizing arts based learning to help reduce barriers to learning and promote positive engagement and attainment.

We work with schools and in a variety of settings to deliver projects to meet your specific requirements to support both creative learning and community cohesion.

We also offer workshops that explore the paintings of our portfolio of leading North West artists, ‘Home is where the Art is’.

School visits to the gallery can form part of this programme or we can bring exhibited works to the school directly . Our workshops combine practical creative tasks with further exploration through group circle time and discussion. All projects can be further developed towards accreditation by ourselves for the national ARTS AWARD.

Our workshop facilitators and artists are all fully CRB checked.

We would welcome an opportunity to meet with you and any other relevant staff to discuss matters in more detail at you convenience.
